Dear ARLIS MOQ Members,
These are difficult times of change and of coming together. COVID 19 is hard enough on health care workers, the elderly, international students, and BIPOC individuals. After a week of heart wrenching news, I would like to speak up on behalf of ARLIS MOQ as one of many library organizations to express sorrow over the loss of George Floyd as well as Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and Dion Johnson who have passed away due to police brutality and systemic racism. Our heartfelt wishes go out to those fighting against racism whether by protesting, by providing resources, by making art, or by speaking up. Black Lives Matter.
