Seeking biographical entries for an online biographical dictionary of contemporary Canadian crafters: textile/fibre, ceramic/clay, and glass artists

Over the past couple of years, and with the expert help of several colleagues, Dr. Loren Lerner and Dr. Janice Anderson have been assembling material for the creation of an online biographical dictionary of contemporary Canadian crafters — textile/fibre, ceramic/clay, and glass artists — to be published by the Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Institute of Canadian Art, Concordia University. We now have significant lists of suitable candidates for inclusion, filling a lacuna in current research resources on this topic.

We are ready to hire the writers of these biographies. The work will take place over the course of the next year or so. Writers will be compensated for each biographical entry.

If you are interested in being one of the writers for this project, please email to Loren Lerner, attached in Word or as a PDF, your curriculum vitae and two different examples of what you have written, no more than three pages per example.
